This sea creature lives in any part of the ocean with temperatures over fifty degrees Fahrenheit. If they get too cold, their fins will freeze and they will be able to hide from predators. It lives in a free and spacious place in the ocean with lots of other small fish. The Carialiosses Fish moves around by flapping its fins, but only when it has enough energy from eating small fish. It can eat small bite-sized fish like krill, shrimp, and plankton.
When it comes to getting food, the tentacles do all the work. The tentacles grab the food and shove it into its mouth. This fish avoids predators by slapping them with its tentacles. And finally, it attracts mates by showing off its fins which attract light and shimmer in the sun. One thing that makes this fish really extraordinary is that it looks like a butterfly in the sea.
