I really love the book Blended. On a scale of one to ten, I would give it a ten.
Blended is about a ten-year-old girl named Isabella who is half black and half white (she is biracial). Her parents get into a divorce so now she is switching houses, switching backpacks, and switching nicknames. One week, she’s Isabella who lives with her dad and his girlfriend and her son, living in a fancy house. The next week she’s Izzy who lives with her mom and her boyfriend in a not-so-fancy house that she loves.
Because of this, Isabella feels like being pulled between two worlds. Since her parents got a divorce, their arguments keep getting bigger. When her parents get engaged on the same day, they have one of their biggest arguments.
I think people should really read this book because it teaches them to never let the bad things stop you from believing in yourself. This book will help remember that you are beautiful/handsome just the way you are.
