If you are looking for a bone-chilling story and an adventure, Fever: 1793 is the way to go!
You are probably asking yourself, What kind of story are you trying to review here? Well, I assume you all have heard of malaria, right? Well if you haven’t, malaria is a epidemic caused by a mosquito bite. Well, yellow fever is the exact same thing, except your eyes and skin turn yellow and you can hardly see, talk, or even breathe!
The summary of this story is fourteen-year-old Mattie Cook is in Philadelphia during the time the notorious yellow fever. Her mother (who is as tough as nails) has caught the fever. Mattie must leave before it’s too late with her grandfather to go fined help! Is it too late for Mattie’s mother, or will she survive the infamous fever of the century?
