Ranger’s Apprentice

by John Flanagan

This review was submitted by Daniel Yoo, a sixth grader from Georgia.

I like this book because it is strategic and logical with an old timely sense of humor which I dig. This book has many point of views showing what other people think and what the main character (who is Will) thinks so that the reader doesn’t only take the main character’s side, but know why that person is doing what he or she is doing. The character’s dialogue makes you laugh knowing that the author does have a sense of humor.

This book is mainly of war and peace treaties with Rangers leading the way. Rangers are basically people that crack cases, make treaties, and go on missions. All of these things sometimes comes down to fighting. This book teaches you life lessons most times and this book is also the book that made me have so much common sense. I bet if you read this book you would get so much common sense and strategic behaviors.

If you love strategic and logical books then this book is for you. You would want to read it over and over again! I for myself had already recommended this book to some of my fellow friends and they said they couldn’t put it down. In independent reading time they read Ranger’s apprentice then the next day then the next then the next! I hope this is the same case as to you! Happy reading!
