I like the book Slacker because in the book each chapter is viewed from a different character’s perspective, which help readers really understand the story from all sides.
I think other TIPsters would like it because the plot starts to really develop from the first chapter. There are a few surprises near the end of the story when the main character starts to really get into the P.A.G, the club that he created as a lie, which then became a sensation in Sycamore Middle School.
Also, another surprise is when Jenifer Del Rio, the Grand Pal of The Friends of Fuzzy, the high school group that does the same thing as the P.A.G, which is doing good deeds, takes Elvis the beaver to the vet first and not the local news reporter, which is good because Elvis was hit by a car and she chose Elvis’s life over fame.
