The Serpent’s Secret is a very entertaining book with twists and turns you would have never expected to happen. I think this is a very good mythology book if you have never read mythology. It is very exciting to join Kiranmala (Kiran) on her journey to find her parents.
I like that all the main characters are all so different, but all work together to reach the same goal. Take Neel for example, he is smart and courageous, but sometimes also very hot tempered. Kiran is also very courageous and smart, too, but she is very thoughtful, and in the story they use their strengths to find Kiran’s parents and to get the pythons jewel to restore Mati and Lal back to their normal states.
How the author makes the story come together is awesome, all of the characters and settings play a very important part of making up the story. I think other people would like this book because it brings out a new culture and belief from the story and to the reader.
