I read Wonder tonight and I would rate it one of the best books I’ve ever read (5/5).
A kid named August was born very differently. He had a lot of surgeries. His face looks very different. Now he’s going to fifth grade with lots of other students. He has been homeschooled his whole life until fifth grade. He has friendship problems and lots of people making fun of his face. He meets true friends along the way to his journey through fifth grade. He manages to get through the whole year.
I think other TIPsters would like it because it shows that if you are unique there’s no reason to be ashamed of it. Even if other people make fun, it’s not the end of the world. So if some TIPsters are nervous to start fifth grade or middle school (like I am), try reading this book. It might help you a bit just like it helped me a little. I don’t just recommend it to the people who are moving on to fifth grade or middle school, I recommend it to anybody. I really like this book and I hope other TIPsters will enjoy it too.
