First her eyes widen,
Green, staring and unblinking.
Her tail starts wagging,
Straight up in the air.
Claws are opened ready,
On the ground, they are sharpened.
Ears pick every sound
Each movement is carefully recorded.
Bottom goes down,
Front legs are stretched,
Out like a ramp.
Then suddenly she pounces!
Hooray! Sambi my kitten has got her prey!
