Snowflakes start to fade away,
As the sun starts rising at dawn,
Cardinals come to chirp with the blue jay,
As lakes fill up with graceful swans.
Streams flow with the shimmering water,
Icicles drip down to melt,
Creeks bring back the brown otters,
And the ducks that are soft and svelte.
No more elegant snow,
No more green Christmas trees,
As my toes feel the warmth,
And seagulls fly above the seas.
The scorching sun hides away the cold,
The frost disappears from the trees,
The foxes skin turns a beautiful gold,
No longer worried about the freeze.
Time to splash in that deep blue pool
Without bringing a snow sled
The water feels so pleasantly cool
Below the sunset so red.
