This Duke TIP interdisciplinary curriculum for gifted elementary and middle school students explores architecture from both ancient and modern times, teaching students how to use the built environment as a lens for understanding different cultures.
This course for gifted students grades 5-7 explores culture and myth of ancient Greece while profiling mythical teen heroes such as Achilles, Pandora, Perseus, and Persephone. Students learn note-taking and academic writing skills while studying Homer, Sophocles, and Ovid.
